Are you Tiffany Ashley?

Just received this message on Facebook:

love script deluxeHi Theodora! I’m a huge fan, I have read everything you write. I have a crazy off the wall question for you. [….] I just read ‘love script’ by Tiffany Ashley last night and was wondering if you are the same person. Like G.A. Aiken is Shelly Laurenston. I know its a strange question, but authors writing are as distinctive as speaking voices. And their is the fact that the characters names are really similar; Nicholas Sinclair instead of Nathan. The stories are different […]but I thought I would ask.

Thank you!

Actually, that’s not a crazy question at all. I’ve mentioned before that my day job involves another type of writing, and I’ve actually put out a non-fiction book with a traditional publisher under my real name. However, I only write interracial romance under one name, and that’s Theodora Taylor.

Also, LOVE SCRIPT did so well, I doubt Ms. Ashley would want to create a whole new pseudonym from scratch.

That said, I enjoyed Ms. Ashley’s first book, LOVE SCRIPT, moreso now that a couple of years have passed since I read it–the story really stuck with me. So I hope she’s either writing under another name or planning to put out another book sooner than later.

I loved both Love Script and Owner of My Heart. I’ve wondered the same thing because the main male characters are so similar in behavior as well as similar names. I wish I could find more from Ms. Ashley and find out more about Ms. Taylor. I’ve read all that they have written.

I bet Ms. Ashley gets a ton of email, like where is the next book?!?! Hopefully one day…
